![]() So, no matter how brilliant you write the fight scene or draw it, it becomes meaningless because you know the MC will just beat him in 2 hits or something.ģ)There is a lack of interesting characters. Our MC is so strong that even absurdly strong villains are piece of cake for him. I love overpowered main characters but there needs to be a balance. Because the pacing is almost always slow, it gets boring to read and I really forced myself to finish mere 50 chapters.Ģ)The protagonist is problematic. However, sometimes, especially during the fights, it ends so quickly that you don't even have any time to comprehend. Here are some things that bothered me:ġ)The pacing is terrible. When we get past the introduction part, the problems start to occur as well. It actually starts out pretty interesting. There are a lot of problems with this one and I won't continue with the 2nd season. I would have quit but I wanted to give it more chance and I managed to finish the 1st season. So, he spends a long time in the tutorial area because he can't level up properly. Everyone is given a guideline (you can level up, use stats, see skills etc) but his guideline is glitched. The premise of the series: Ryu Han-Bin, ex-military, is chosen and transported into a magical world. PS: I'm writing this review for Season 1 of the series (First 50 chapters). Edit: this keeps happening ad nausea it would be slightly interesting if the side characters got caught in it and solved it themselves /made them grow but whats bredictible is that someone of the main cast will save the day and deaths only serve to fuel a power up. In one scene 100+ die because of plot just to introduce some tension and after he goes out of his way to save someone unknown that casually has plot relevance whilst ignoring the suffering of anyone without plot relevance and then repeat. Lastly really don`t like how they are managing the death of characters. Not only that, but, the MC has becomes irrelevant in many explanations ,but we don't get any characters filling the place. And there are too many holes in the argument appearing. It was pretty decent until then but, along the way in the overexplanation, monsters each time have less sense. And then repeat this structure in whatever ark you're in. To then have the MC return to end the battle and say some interesting stuff plot-wise to then again get some chapters of "story building" that are actually over-explaining things that are mentioned in the background of the main story in case slow readers didn't get it. When we are thinking about dropping it they usually get him acting badass, just to randomly get various chapters without him. The story slowly devolves into a generic isekai/ fantasy with a totally passive MC unless it's necessary. The death of the sword king makes no sense it just serves to nerf the heroes and make a convenient yet not plausible story.Įdit 163: There were already glaring errors, but the author is fatally messing up the timeline. The problem is the 'Guideline' that was supposed to be his guiding system to survive is filled with errors. Left to fend for himself, he was given the goal of surviving and growing stronger in a desolute world riddled with monsters. Ryu Han-bin was a normal person who just had been discharged from his mandatory military service, when he was transported to another world. Just how will this low-level, super-tutorial newbie survive?Įnglish, French, S.Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, T.Chinese, Português When he is finally released from this personal hell, he finds everyone has turned against otherworlders like him. However, his “guide line,” the system bestowed upon him to help with his survival and growth, was filled with errors, causing him to be stuck in the tutorial stage for over 20 years. After being recently discharged from military service and just drifting through life, Hanbin Ryu is suddenly transported to another world.
